Common questions
How do I delete my account?
Inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent — your goals, habits, check-ins, photos, and partner connections are removed from production systems within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days.
If you can't access the in-app deletion flow (e.g., you've lost access to your account), email support@fikadaily.com from the address on your Fika account and we'll delete it for you.
Important: deleting your Fika account does not automatically cancel an active Premium subscription. Cancel in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Fika.
How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
All subscription billing is handled by Apple, so cancellations happen in iOS Settings:
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Fika and then Cancel Subscription.
You'll keep Premium until the end of the current billing period.
I think I should be Premium but the app shows Free.
Try the following in order:
- Inside Fika, open Settings → Premium and tap Restore Purchases.
- Confirm you're signed into iOS with the same Apple ID you used to purchase.
- Check iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions for an active Fika subscription.
- If purchase still doesn't restore, email support@fikadaily.com with your Apple order ID and we'll fix it.
My accountability partner can't see my updates.
Sharing is per-goal and per-habit. From your goal or habit detail screen, tap the partners icon and confirm the partner is included in the sharing list. If they still don't see updates:
- Confirm the partner has accepted your invite (Settings → Partners shows pending vs accepted).
- Make sure both of you are on the latest app version.
- Ask the partner to pull-to-refresh on the People tab.
I'm not getting push notifications.
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Fika, and confirm "Allow Notifications" is on. Then inside Fika, open Settings → Notifications and verify your category preferences (Reminders, Partner Activity, Challenges). If you still don't see them, sign out and back into the app to refresh your push token.
How do I export my data?
Email support@fikadaily.com from the address on your account and request an export. We'll send a JSON archive of your goals, habits, check-ins, and partner connections within 30 days.
